What about Mark Jackson for head coach? I really think he's a great guy, and very knowledgeable with the game of basketball. The way he comes off makes him seem strict, and wouldn't put up with ****. I think if the Bucks decide they want to start completely fresh, they should bring him in for a visit.

I'd be interested in that......

But first I'd like a powerful GM and to have that guy want to hire Mark Jackson as his coach.

Yes, because EVERYONE is jumping at Rick Carlisle and Larry Brown to be hired. Rick Carlisle chokes in the late stages of playoffs, and Larry Brown, IMO, just isn't a good coach for this team.

Mavericks hit the jackpot (before) with Avery Johnson, what's saying we can't do the same with Mark Jackson. He's got intensity, would probably get in Mo's face plenty of times about his PG play, and looks like a tough, strict guy.

Danno at least Rick goes to the playoffs.. so of course that would be a upgrade.

Danno I would rather have Rick C. help the Bucks choke in the playoffs than not get to the playoffs at all.

all coaches that dont win the finals but go to the playoffs can be looked at as chokers.. but once they win they are great.. I highly doubt the Bucks will get that super high profile coach.. so I have no problem with Rick.

Avery Johnson spent time with Don nelson and was groomed for the job so it would not be the same as Jackson who has no coaching experience. Larry Bird came to Indiana with no coaching experience but he had a veteran team and also had very experienced assistants including Carlisle and Dick Harter. the Bucks are still very young with no veteran leaders so as much as I am a fan of Mark Jackson I see that as being a mistake for MIlwaukee.
