New Protest Idea Thread.

In lue of us losing to the Heat twice in one week when they were tanking, I think another protest might be in order.
Couple of ideas have been thrown around the board tonight.
Clown night. We get some ppl to dress as clowns wearing Michael Redd jersey's or holding a Herb Kohl sign.
Ron Walter Mask night. Print up a boat load of Ron Walter masks and wear them around the BC.
Simmons is also might be coming in April, we could do something involving that.
Any ideas?

Why not just do what the Marquette student section does. Take a headshot of Walter and Burr, blow up the size and hold them up for everybody to see.

Last week I didn't think we needed more protests. Now that Woeffel tells us that Ron Walter is hiring the GM when he gets back from vacation indicates a bigger problem that has yet to be solved.
I like all three ideas. Here are some pro's/con's.
Clown night. Have a bunch of guys in good clown outfits wearing jerseys of all the players and Larry K. Would be hilarious and get tons of attention.....even if only 10 guys. The problem is that doesn't go at our main problem---getting Kohl to move Walter aside and hire a real GM.
Ron Walter mask night: I don't know if anyone in the audience would understand this. It would get the name and issue out there more, but I'm not sure how this could have a big impact. Bags are easy...everyone gets that.
Bill Simmons for GM night: I think this is where we have to go. Let's face it, Simmons lit up Kohl/Walter, etc with that scathing column today about how crappy our team is. This is easy. People get this. Local news would interview Simmons.
I guess I'd lean towards a Bill Simmons night. Everything he does gets national press on ESPN.com.

To further expand on my idea. Have some people hold up big heads of Kohl, Walter and Burr, have others dress up as the three stooges, have others hold up signs about why those three suck.

Agreed on Simmons. He is going to have to be involved. We could have some people wearing Clown costumes holding blown up kohl faces. Some guys hold Bill Simmons for GM signs.
We just have to find out when and if Bill is actually going to come out here.

Yeah, I am sure any sign company could help us.
I have experience with FastSigns, so I'll see how much one of those would cost.

Uhh, the Marquette students don't make the big heads, they are made by someone doing game promotional crap and handed out, then re-collected at the end of the game.

Hmm. That probably means they cost a lot. I wonder who is in charge of doing promotions like that. Alumni committee? Student organizations?

Can't you just go to Kinkos or whatever, blow it up to the proper size and then glue it onto cardboard?

I say we bombard the entire Bucks organization from the ticket office to ad account managers to the players and coaches to upper management all the way to herb Kohls senatorial office with phones calls and emails of this

after all it only seems fair since everytime we turn out to watch the product they have given us it's basically what they have done to us

I would do anything involving Bill Simmons. But I really think something with Ron Walter would be great. Most of us know where he sits...he is enemy number 2! I think if we could sneak in fire Ron Walter signs...or something even more creative than that. Whatever is decided though im good with.

Hard to get it organised, but try to get the Bucks staff manning the turnstiles to wear Mo and Redd jerseys when the crowd turns up. Nothing is more symbolic than even the fattest or oldest people in the city just blowing by Mike or Mo.

Why not do the clown idea + the big Walter face?
Clowns would really stand out and take everyone by surprise. People would be like, "Holy crap. Clowns. What are they holding? A Walter sign? That must mean that he should be booed next."

The point is they hold them. How was I to know they don't make them?

The Bill Simmons idea(s) are the ones that have the most potential. GAD, you must explore these. We implore you.

Do you even need to sneak them in? So much easier for a group of people to enter with some innocent-looking "I Wuv Max Redd" signs and a sharpie for getting autographs, then once inside everyone writes "Fire Ron Walter" on the back of their sign and holds that side up at the designated time. If you were really alert you could even hold up the "Max Redd" side until you get put on-camera and then flip the sign over quickly.

I like the CLOWN ideas...You are onto something there...
But 99.999% do not know who Ron Walter is or what he looks like...
