Absolutely not.
This draft sucks

I agree that this draft looks too weak for that.

No way for me, but you might get some takers on here. I'd move anyone but Bogut.

Anything, but Bogut. Redd or Mo if you want.

I'd trade anyone on the team for #3/4 and fillers outside of Bogut.

Yeah I wouldnt do it either.
3 or 4 pick isnt Beasley or Rose and those are the only two who are worth it.
anyone else on the roster I would do in some fashion I suppose.

I don't think it's as easy a question as many here think.
What is Bogut's ceiling? Great 3rd option on a good team? 17/11/3/1.8 type at his peak?
It depends who's on the board at three. Initially I'd say no, but I think it depends on the direction this team wants to take.

This is a 2 player draft and then a big dropoff. Still quality there, but no one worth Bogut (and that's assuming both Rose/Beasley even declare).

I would probably trade the entire roster for Beasley, but not the 3rd or 4th pick.

There isn't a player in this draft I think is better than Bogut - and I'm a huge Rose fan. So I'll say no to the trade.
Now if there's a way to package anybody else on the team and the lotto pick to move up and get Rose count me in. Either Mo/lotto pick, Redd/lotto pick or Yi/lotto pick for Rose would be a done deal for me.
Drinks are on me if the Bucks can pull that off.

Those numbers u listed were interesting, if that's his peak u must think he's extremely close to his peak now, given his numbers for the past 3 months are something like 15.6/10.3/3/1.7
Not much improvement left in him for you? I suspect his ceiling is a bit higher than that, but I could be wrong.

I'm not enamored with Brook Lopez. I don't really like Bayless or Gordon. I wouldn't do Bogut for Mayo, so your answer is no.

No....primarily because this draft only has two marquee guys in it, and neither of those guys is a guaranteed game changing anything when compared to last year with Oden and Durant (and even Horford).
If the Bogut of March 27, 2008 entered this draft, he'd be #1 overall easily IMO.
This deal would have been possible on this board back in December.....but Bogut seems to be settling into a 16/10/2 player right now.....which is pretty good.

No question. If Bogut has an identical sophomore season at Utah, I think he's #1 in this draft, even with the numbers Beasley is putting up. There would be a debate between him and Beasley between many probably.

Only if Rose was somehow available. We're not trading away Bogut to draft a swing player, and there really arn't any better center prospects in this draft than Bogut.
It would be a draft day decision for me. If there was a pg prospect we were sure on and if we could piggyback a bad contract onto the Knicks...maybe.

Absolutely not. Bogut is the most complete, best player on this team when he wants to be. Nobody in the upcoming draft at 3 and 4 will be as good as Bogut. And even if you could argue that they may be, it's not worth trading him. We have no reason to get younger. Bogut's young enough.

Rose and Beasley are not even sure fire picks. This draft reminds me of the year Bogut was drafted. The best players are going to be picked later, because of the potential factor.

I think Bogut's pretty much been the 2nd best C in the East in 2008 (statistically at least), so to trade him away for so little doesn't make a great deal of sense to me. NY would be laughing if they could get it done though.

Absolutely not. Bogut is going to be the second or third best center in the east for the next 6-7 years. I don't see any pick being worth that in this draft.

You know how hard it is to find a center that averges those numbers? If Bogut puts up those numbers every year, he'll be an all star every single one of those years in the east.
