Nothing really earth shattering.

Beasley got two votes, Rose got one. No votes for Bogut but Noah did get one.

Thorpe voted for Deng and Noah. Chicago homer?

Noah over Bogut is too comical to even comment on.

Not shocking though, big market bias always wins out in these type of things.

I honestly think that the majority of the panel forgot that Milwaukee and Atlanta had franchises. No other way to explain Noah getting a vote over Horford or Bogut. Or hell, Smith receiving only a Wild Card vote, whatever the hell that means.

Even Oden over Bynum is a joke.

Well according to the ballots it says "Who else has the greatest upside". So I assume they just choose someone who isnt good enough to be top 5 but think has huge upside.

Jalen Rose voted for Smith in the Wild Card. (His 5 (in order) were Lebron, Dwight, Carmelo, Deron, CP3)

David Thorpe voted for Deng 5th and Noah Wild Card

Those two are honestly a wash for me. They're both phenomenal point guards.

And who's this "LeBron James" fellow? Never heard of him.

Well to be fair AB turns 24 this year, before the start of next season I think. Noah turns 23. SO he may not meet the 23 and under definition.

Isn't Noah only like 3 months younger than AB?

As I said i may because AB 28/11/84 turns 24 this year. Noah 28/02/85 urns 24 next year. It all depends on how they define Under 23.

Given that the title of the thread is '23 and under' and Bogut won't turn 24 until well into next season I doubt it, but you could be right.

I honestly couldn't really put my finger on why exactly, I just enjoy watching Deron play more than I like watching CP3 play. Deron seems like more of a leader, to me at least.

Judging by team talent surrounding them vs team performance, I just dont think thats true.

Well it is true that he seems like more of one to me ;)

I just enjoy watching Deron play, and to be honest I enjoy watching him play a lot more than I enjoy watching CP3 play. I see Deron as able to run a really strong team and make solid decisions on the court within a system, so far I've seen Paul as able to put up great numbers on a team that just lets him do what he wants.

That's a completely simplistic way of looking at it, and I'm completely underselling what Paul does I am sure :)
