The following weaknesses are listed in his Draftexpress profile: "Confidence/intensity wavers", "avoids contact, soft?", "gets extremely passive at times", and "poor rebounder"
Those all individually automatically disqualify a player as far as I'm concerned... Put all four of them together in one person and I could care less if they have LeBron's talent.
I can live with confidence wavering, to an extent. However, if you're passive, lazy, and/or avoid contact BEFORE having the security of multi-million dollar NBA contracts, I shudder imagining how lazy a player will get after he has that security.

The Bucks should draft this guy in the 2nd round. He'd be a nice fit at SF.

Class: Senior

College Team: Maryland
Strengths: Potential is outstanding, especially in faster paced NBA ... Athletically, he can compete with anyone ... Dunks with authority often ... Runs the fast break very well for a power forward... Great length ... Good touch around the basket ... Has the potential to be a lock down defender ... Very good post defender ... Has strong shot blocking instincts ... Good footwork in the post... Improving jump shot ... Developing ability to play on the perimeter ... Incredible on the open floor ... Can get on a roll and look like a budding star ... Has noticeably improved every year of his collegiate career ... Strong free throw shooter ...
Weaknesses: Has a tendency to disappear offensively at times ... Not ready to play full time on the wing, as he would likely be asked to do... Poor rebounder for his size ... Not strong enough to play the four in the NBA, and lacks great height at 6'8" ... Very passive overall, doesn't make his presence felt enough ... Must work on consistency and getting open ... A bit of a tweener, but has the potential make the transition to a wing player ...

I'd prefer Joey Dorsey. He's going to be a Jason Maxiell type of guy. Knows his role, defends, grabs rebounds and blocks shots.

I like the comments in this thread by Luke and DB....let me pour some additional gas on the fire....
Patrick (Tampa, FL): Do you think Gallinari is now being underrated as part of a backlash against European players (after they were overrated for awhile)? If you had a choice, Gallinari or Randolph?
Chad Ford: There's a definite backlash. And with Andrea Bargnani now struggling and Marco Bellinelli mired on the bench in Golden State, it's getting worse. Gallinari has been great this year, but his so-so athleticism and lack of a consistent three point shot have scouts worried about his upside. I think his range is 8 to 15. In almost every scenario, I think LSU's Anthony Randolph goes ahead of him.

And for you Joey Dorsey fans.....
Nick (TN): Is there a place in the NBA for a guy like Joey Dorsey? He is almost an exact replica of Ben Wallace. The guy has the ability to play some game changing defense.
Chad Ford: Almost is the key word. Dorsey takes lots of nights off. Big Ben never really did that. He fought and scrapped for a place in the league. Yes, lately he takes weeks off at a time ... but not at the start of his career. That's a big difference.

I hope that drops him to us, because he would be a steal in the mid to late 30's.

Wow. Probably five guys on that list I'd consider solid role players, then a bunch of horrible players after that.
I've said it a million times. Gallinari/Batum might turn out to be solid players. I've never seen them play. I'm just not willing to take the risk on either one when there are several players I'd feel way more comfortable taking (along with being pretty certain they would also be better players).
The chances of hitting it big on a Euro, judging by the amount of players in the league now that are really doing well, and the amount drafted, is probably less than 10%.

I could get on board with the Bogut pick because of his Croatian background and the fact that some of those guys from that area like Divac and Kukoc could play ball.
But most of the rest of them....not so much.
Ford makes a good point on Bellini. I had forgotten how they hyped that guy during and after the draft......
