Was a fun game, that's for sure. Max actually played decent down the stretch and hit the game-tying shot. But Ramon Sessions...

I only watched bits in the third and fourth....

Last year the Celtics played pretty much the same garbage squad against us and our garbage squad still won.....

Tonight we threw Max and #1 overall against them and lost.....

Unreal......

Fun game as a fan, but definitely disheartening overall.

This game is the very definition of empty stats for everyone. No one played well.

Sessions is a moron. Huge idiot.

I posted this in the game thread but I'm wondering if Simmons' vastly improved play to close out the season will bump up his trade value. He's been playing pretty well the past several games.

Bogut with the most incredible line of his career 15-15-5 with 10 turnovers. A combination of excellent and truly disgusting at the same time.

Sessions had a solid all-around game but also had way too many turnovers and then made an inexcusable mistake at the end. Yes he's a rookie, but he's also the PG and he of all players needs to know the game situation - especially with the game on the line.

I thought Redd played pretty well for the most part. Didn't shoot all that great but he made the clutch 3, hit some other big shots and was really looking to move the ball.

But ultimately it's pretty sad that the Bucks couldn't beat the Celtics' JV team.

Sessios went for a 2 when we were down 3. He essentially pulled a Mo, or a KVH who also did it against the Celtics a few years ago.


Of course the same folks who castrated Mo are ready to excuse Sessions. Not europa though. Thanks BTW.

He pulled a Mo. Bucks down three with just a few seconds left and he drove to the basket for a layup instead of either taking a 3 himself to try and tie the game or passing to someone else so they could try and tie the game.

5-14, 10 TOs for Bogut against the Celts scrubs. Worst line of the year for anyone?

I obviously didn't see the game, but how can a center miss that many shots and make that many turnovers?

Again I posted this in the game thread but that is not accurate at all. We were down 25 when they had the big 3 in the game, then outscored them 25 to go to OT. So whilst we got hammered by their full squad with the big 3, we actually smashed their scrubs. Not saying that's good, just saying let's not say we got beaten by the garbage squad when we clearly destroyed them.

I like Ramon's potential but its clear the Bucks do not have a starting PG going into next year at this time.

Agreed. All I ask is that the Bucks get rid of Mo for a point guard who will split time with Sessions and be a positive influence on him.

It is sad that at home, with all the momentum in the world, with our starters including our 91 million dollar man and #1 overall pick, we couldn't beat a team of 5 minimum salary castoffs and 2nd round picks.

Redd hit the big shot, but then got outplayed by Eddie House in OT. Everything anybody does on this team is completely empty.

This Ramon growing pains stuff is good.....

I was worried the team would go into next year thinking Sessions could handle the starting job......it would be the same mistake we've always made....thinking second round guys can be important starters that you can build your team around.

He didn't shoot well, but one of them was a shot clock force and another was a three quarter court heave for the game winner, so it's not quite as bad as it seems. Also even with the turnovers if 15 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 4 blocks is the worst line of the year then we're a 70 win team. The turnovers were terrible though, as I said in the game thread think he got caught going for a bit too much against a very strong defensive unit, and paid the price with a god awful TO line.

The 3/4 court shot was definitely waved off. Bogut was pretty brutal outside of dunks tonight offensively.

I still love what I've seen from Sessions. Many of his mistakes are correctable and it's clear his PG instincts are strong. The latter is not something you can teach and is invaluable to a team. I think he has the ability to at least be a solid starter in the NBA. If he becomes more than that, that would be great. But even if he had put up triple doubles to close out the season I still would have wanted to see the Bucks find another PG to team with him next season.

Agreed. I too was getting very concerned with some good games that Herb would say 'well there's a starting pg' when we clearly still don't know what we've got.
