Am I missing something? Why is this game "virtually sold out" (Pashke)

This is my last Bucks game on my package this year...what a huge mistake to get tickets this season. I will be in Phoenix next season but my best advice to those that are thinking of buying a package next year...you have to be 100% sold that things are turning around with this team because going to games like I did this year were not enjoyable at all and im sure I was not the only one to feel this way. I could care less about the entertainment during timeouts...its the team that I want to be entertained by.

If there is a geekier, more awkward superstar in sports than Sidney Crosby I haven't seen him.

Well with NY losing tonight we are sure to not catch them no matter what.

Only team we can catch is the Clippers and that is if we lose out and they win out (unlikely looking at their schedule). No team can catch us.

It is time to stop the tanking and win our last 3.

I wonder if Hammond will be introduced at the game? I'm also wondering why Paschke said the game would be sold out?

Just for the hell of it, win. Get the new era started on the right foot.

I think the hand gesture is more of a 'get the hell out of town'. Nice DTribbs :)

If by "sold out" he means they have been giving away a ton of tickets then it's true.

No...they aren't giving them away....they are giving away tickets for the Bulls game.......for some reason this game had a huge chunk of tickets presold.

I can only think it to be a combination of:

Saturday night game......a very key bobblehead.....later game in the year.

And the Brewers are out of town.

Actually they have been giving away a ton of tickets for the past few games. Sponsors are getting them by the boatload. This is the time of year they not only are pushing for season ticket renewals but also sponsor renewals. While some sponsors have multi-year deals with the team most are on a year to year basis. So the team has been greasing the wheels so to speak with tons of free tickets.

I'm looking forward to watching the end of one of the worst seasons in memory. Still, there's a refreshed feel in the Bucks air. Looking forward to an energized team tonight.
