How would you feel about trading for Jermaine Oneal? He would be perfect next to Bogut! Defends, Blocks and hits the outside shot! He can play both the 4 and the 5
Trade Charlie V and Mo for Oneal and Dunleavy would be ideal!
probably asking for too much Oneal and a throwin id do
Bogut
Oneal/Yi
Dunleavy or draft pick
Redd
Sessions
Three man rotation up front with Oneal alternating at the 4 and 5 while Bogut and Yi play their natural positions
After watching Charlie V lately i would think about swapping Yi instead
Lastly: If Carlisie becomes our new coach he and Oneal will mesh very well
thoughts?

We can't send out only $12 million and take back $30 million. Besides, O'Neal has averaged only 51 games per year the past four years.

Charlie's salary next year is under $4 million. You can't change that. Also, why the hell would they want Gadzuric? They'd be better off letting O'Neal expire.

For all you know they don't want any of our players. They definitely don't want Gadzuric since, well, nobody does.

im sure they would want Mo over their current pg and im sure they would be happy to add CV at only 4 mil who wouldnt!
a simple phone call from hammond to their GM would know if they wanted to deal!
never know if u never ask!
my original question was would u do the trade, not if it works or if they would want to do it!

There aren't many takers for Mo at the current time and there are ZERO takers for Gadz and his contract. We need to get off the green stuff when making trade ideas thinking our poor contracts; Gadz, Simmons, Mo, Redd and Bell are going to be unloaded for a superstar. No team wants any part of those contracts until they're in the year approaching expiring. I honestly think we have zero assets outside of Yi and Bogut and need to dump some of our poor contracts for lesser star players with shorter contracts.

I know what your saying!
But before you were saying Oneal is injury prone!
he is also slowly on the decline in his game
do u really class him still as a superstar? He on the other hand would be great for our team!
Anyway i just hope our new Gm will at least ask the question to other Gms rather then like u and simply say nah they wont do that why would they want mo, why would they want CV etc!
gotta be in it to win it

I would trade Mo/Gadz/CV for Jermaine Oneal if the Pacers would.
Worst case scenario we just dumped to bad contracts for one. If Oneal doesnt work out we still have Bogut and Yi and Oneal comes off the books in 2010 along with Bobby Simmons....if he does then we have a nice three man rotation.
We would have a lot of expirings for our new GM to work with........just need to unload Redd and we are set.
