How long 'til Larry K is fired?

Post#1 » by JHSFIVE » Wed Apr 16, 2008 4:51 pm

My guess is one day. Why delay the inevitable? LK I believe, already knows and has been told he will not be asked back. I believe Hammond is that straight of a shooter.

+1

I just think it makes sense to move on and get the people in place that you plan on being here. Sooner everyone's in, the sooner the game plan can start to be outlined.

Amazing how excited the board was to have Stotts out 13-months ago.....who would have thought it could get worse....

I couldn't have predicted that in 13-months we'd whiff on the lotto, the guy we did end up getting would be a bust (for now at least), Mo and Redd would fight like little kids, and Larry K. would get swept out......

It was possible things would go badly....but not this bad.

I agree. I believed this team was going to be bad this season but I never expected all the crap to go on that has and to see a team splintered apart due to locker room issues and a head coach in way over his head.

He's let go Thursday, new coach is announced over the weekend.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This friday seems like a nice day to get canned.........

I really do feel bad for LK as it appeared that he was in a no win situation. I remember when he was hired and listening to him talking up the roster I thought to myself, "There is absolutely no way this team is a playoff team or even a .500 team." I truly believe he knew quite soon that he was in WAY over his head. I actually believe that someday he may be a very good coach in this league but he definately needs to be an assistant for a while and get more experience. I truly like his candor and attitude but this team desperately needs him gone.....

I'm sorry, but where have you heard or how do you know that Mo and Redd fight like little kids? Everyone talks about how bad Redd and Mo get along and how the team hates them, yet no articles or quotes have ever been against Redd or Mo. I don't understand why everyone naturally assumes that the team hates Redd. The team is not this board. Nobody hates Redd unless they are on this board.

LK should start reading the employment section while on the bench during the game! That would be classic.

If it were my call, it would be right after the buzzer for the 4th quarter sounds tonight.

Hell, if it were my call, it would have happened a long time ago.

I know that no one who has watched this team this year could possibly offer a cogent argument that LK should keep his job, but I can't shake the feeling I have that he might not be fired at all.....call me crazy......

It's just the lingering feeling from all these years of no progress and Kohl's meddling, but I'll believe Krapstowiak will be fired when I see it.
