Ramon's last five (14.2ppg/15.0apg/6.0rpg)
14.2ppg/15.0apg/6.0rpg/1.6spg 50% FG
Those stats are nuts.......
Did we lose all five games? Sure.
Did he average 43mpg? Sure.
But those stats are f-ing nuts. That is Chris Paul territory.

Ramon didn't play more than a grand total of 61 minutes until we hit the month of April when he got big minutes.
For April:
10 games:
38.6mpg/11.5ppg/11.3apg/4.2rpg/1.5spg/
46% FG/42% 3-pt/74% FT
You can't make this stuff up. We've seen plenty of Bucks excel in small samples but those are crazy numbers. There was a joke about him getting ROY votes......he arguably could get a lower place vote from somebody.
At a minimum he'll get a Chad Ford mention.
No question IMO we could get a lotto pick from 10 down for this guy if we wanted to.

It really is unfortunate that he got injured, would have been nice to see Jam Sessions playing in a few games that mattered (to other teams) earlier on.
I'd consider the 24 an outlier and remove it from the sample

Go Bucks!

All stats on this team are meaningless. And they have been for over a decade.
But yes, I'm glad I picked him up on fantasy a few nights ago.
Not really meaningless for a rookie who hasn't played 20 games yet. For a veteran, moreso yes. I think you just like to hijack threads and argue with people who are trying to find something to be optimistic about.

I don't disagree with that. But it's one thing if he averaged 12/8 or something like that......but these are Chris Paul stats......I'm not saying he's Chris Paul or anything crazy like that. But I can't think of any rookies who got a one-month audition even in garbage time that put up anything like this.
What's the difference between these stats and what Al Jefferson has put up on the two 20-game winners he's lead the past two-seasons? (Yes I know the differences, but you get my point)

I don't think it's a stretch at all to say he was the Bucks' most impressive rookie. Yi started off strong but he didn't put up numbers like this. Sessions has put up elite PG numbers to close out the season. Yi never came close to putting up elite PF numbers.

My two questions about Sessions are:
1. Why did Jim Paschke raise the possibility of other teams making a run at Sessions? Is he available to other teams?
2. Did Coach K play Sessions shortly after he had recovered from the broken hand, or was he rather slow in getting around to giving Sessions time? Seems like folks here were calling for Ramon to get time for a while before it started happening. Was ex-player Coach K more skeptical of a rookie than this useless season justified? Still hoping to win a few games and keep his job? (BTW, in the postgame interview Larry K looked defeated, almost distraught. I wondered if he felt a large grievance than his players didn't care enough to give him a real effort....)

1. I think Paschke was talking about teams trying to steal Sessions away from the Bucks in a trade. He is signed for next season so he's not going anywhere unless Hammond trades him.
2. This was one of Krystkowiak's many blunders in my opinion. I was hearing that the players were raving about Sessions and wanted him to get playing time before Bogut's radio interview. That Krystkowiak couldn't see that Sessions was a better option at PG than Royal Ivey and that he couldn't see that giving minutes to Sessions might be a better idea than giving them to Storey speaks volumes about his ineptitude as an NBA head coach.

Jim reads this board religiously for ideas.....I was cruising a few boards the last two days after the 24 assist game and a number of posters on other boards were offering ideas of how their team should try and snag Sessions.
You know if Sessions were playing right now for say Sacramento and was putting up these numbers, we'd have a thread a day from somebody with a trade idea of how to get him.
