Durant 42/13/6 for his rookie finale
This kid really finished the year on a tear. If the Sonics land Rose, watch out for that team.

Rose is obviously the better fit, but Durant is really hoping the Sonics land Mike Beasley. The two have been buddies for a long time, both are from the DC area and they've played on the same AAU teams. I'm not sure what Beasley would mean for Jeff Green.

They also have a GM that seems very bright and has the Sonics rebuilding the right way instead of half-assing it. They have six first round picks the next three years and extra second rounders. The could add Rose or Beasley, plus having all those extra draft picks to use on players, as trade bait, or to potentially move up in drafts.

In what way? He averaged 20 ppg as a rookie at 19 on a crappy team.
Tmac on the other hand averaged 7 ppg at 18 on an even crappier team.
in ridiculously different situations. durant was given all the minutes and shots he wanted because they expected him to be their franchise player. mcgrady's situation was completely different

I know they're talking about moving Durant back to forward once he gets stronger, but seeing a Green, Durant, & Beasley combo on the floor would be pretty unique.
Go Bucks!

Yeah thats true. Which just makes whatever the hell Bucks Revenge was saying this time even more far off. The career paths dont even seem to be close at this point.

Yep, Seattle is doing it the right way. Get rid of all contractual garbage, load up on picks, and build through the draft.
If they get into the top 2, Rose/Durant/Green or Durant/Green/Beasley is a ridiculous core moving forward, and they have five more first rounders on top of that in the next three drafts combined.

Its not fair... we should have picked in the top 3 last year. I hate each and every ping pong ball in the world. Durant, Oden, or Horford on the Bucks? I would take that any day over the foreign advertising revenue that Yi brought in. Not that I don't have high hopes for Yi, but I would much rather have had Horford or Conley.
Durant is a special player. The TMac comparison is not totally off (a lanky perimiter oriented scoring machine). But Durant, in my opinion, has more fire and plays with more desire. And I think that is going to lift him to a higher plane as a player than TMac has reached. I always feel like, as good as he is, TMac is trying too hard to look like he is not trying. Durant doesn't care. He dives for balls, almost cries after losses, and seems to love the game a little more.
I love Kevin Durant. Pity that I hate Clay Bennet and the soon to be Oklahoma City Whatevers.
If there is a such thing as ping pong ball karma... we will get Rose instead of the Seattle Supersonic Stealers
