Hello!

Post#1 » by MILILL » Thu Apr 17, 2008 6:09 pm

As you can probably tell, I'm new here so I apologize if this thread is against protocol but I just wanted to say Hello. I'm a big Bucks fan; I haven't posted here until today but I have posted some stuff on JSONLINE and the Bratwurst as MIL-ILL. I've read this forum a couple of times and tried to sign up sometime ago but couldn't because of the 'pay e-mail' requirement.

Any way, I read somewhere thet some Bucks players post here. Does anyone know who they are? I'm interested to read their comments.

Sorry for the corny intro. Thanks!

Welcome to the boards. The only Buck who's posted here is C. Bell under the handle "flintstone." That stopped months ago, though. Maybe he'll pop in during the offseason.

Welcome, MILILL.

The fact that you're willing to sign up to talk Bucks after a season like this really says a lot about your dedication as a fan :)

I don't think any Bucks still post here. Bell did, and Simmons' friend did, but they both got cut off seemingly.

Don't questions usually end with a question mark?

Welcome aboard.

As far as Bucks players that post here, Charlie Bell posts here under the user name "flintstone"

That's it as far as actual players (that we know of anyway). A friend of Bobby Simmons posts here under the user name "BuckSkins Fan"
And two friends of former Bucks coach Terry Stotts still post here as well, "Epicurus" and "bigzy"

There are a handful of other connected people and/or quasi-celebrities that post here that I am aware of that choose not to reveal their true identities. And I assume there are probably some that I am not aware of.

Hard to say. I mean, he's playing on a bad team and racking up a lot of minutes because of injury. Great potential, that's for sure but I'm a bit skepticle still. If he continues with the good attitude and getting his players involved, I think the sky is the limit. But - still the jury is out. Let's not forget, MOE was somewhat in the same lime light a few years back.

Thanks! I'm a fan - rain or shine.. We all have vested interest in our Milwaukee Bucks. The intangibles an NBA team brings to the city can't be quantified. Fans must be the foundation no matter what.

BTW - I read brewhoop every morning.. Great effort man!

Wrong answer. Prepare for the wrath of Bucks_Revenge.

Quasi celebrities? Are you referring to people like Freeway, or Shirley Manson from Garbage?

I was reading some of Charlie's posts and that was kind nice of him. Good way to get the fans involved is to have players interact with them. However, I noticed that he's only got 50 posts; is this because he was told to stop??

One thing is for sure; with some players inevitable departure, there will be a lot of 'leaks' to the media about what really went on this season? I'd like to know if the rumors of the altercations are true.

I guess that makes Cold Crush a quasi-celebrity impersonator :)

Also, Shirley Manson is TOTALLY a real celebrity...I loved that band back in the day.

Kelly Dwyer from Yahoo posts openly on the Bulls board...I'm personally not aware of any other quasi-celebrities posting openly or secretly.
