Weltman officially aboard

I know someone had a thread saying this was going to happen, it is now official. I think this is an extremely important step, more bright minds working together, the better. Hammonds is building up a solid group of personnel people, which will come in handy if has to go to war against Walter or any of the other basketball challenged minions in the senators circle.

Great move.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I would really buy into this if Walter and Burr get the boot! But this is another way to do it and if we can get enough smart basketball people around than the inner circle will just be an afterthought.

I just imagine all these new guys, real professionals all, coming into the office and just viewing all the backbiting, politics, and other behind the scenes garbage that goes on currently and being like "WTF are you guys thinking? We are all on the same team here. How do you ever expect to have a winning organization when the team is more at eachother's throats that at the rest of the league."

Maybe even b*itchslap Kohl while they are at it.

Appears to be a good move. So far I like the direction we're heading. Slowly but surely getting that culture change, at least in the front office currently.

Hopefully he forgot everything he did in his long stint with the Clippers.

Again I'll stress that the important thing here is Hammond is hiring his people. I think that's significant.
Nothing will not break me.

I'd be upset if Skiles was our coach.

I'd be happy if Carlisle was our coach.

Can you answer if I would be happy or upset if Hammonds landed his first choice?

yeah I get tidbits here and there but not as much as some of you other guys.

For some reason I get these two little valuable pieces the other day. Hammond runs a tight ship from the impression I am getting and it seems like he has full reign over all decisions and reports to Kohl and Kohl only for now. Which is awesome....

It does seem like JH is building this from the top down the right way.

One more thing to the other guys who did get information before.

EXPECT that information flow to slow significantly when the staff is complete. JH is very professional and very closed door when it comes to business. This staff and roster will be modeled after the Pistons top down.

LOL...I have already been told that!......now back to the next possible coach  . I love when I get a tidbit of info but I also know that I can't really say anything to affirmative at times.....so give us something cryptic, you can be creative :D .

If Kohl wants fans to be truly excited, he will pay out for Rick Carlisle.

If he settles for Skiles, fans will be split. Yeah, he's a step up, but not our first choice.

I have a feeling that Hammond will get his first choice.

Kohl knows he needs to go big and believes in Hammond.

Who said Hammond's first choice is Carlisle?
