Ryan Gomes or Dorrell Wright.

Either one could start at SF for us next year.

Ryan Gomes (Like ESBF said could start at SF for us)...Keyon Dooling (we could have him for cheap I would imagine and he instantly would become our best defender at the PG position...I know thats not saying much but he is a very good defender.) And Craig Smith (Minnesota will probably match any offer but its worth a shot)

We could target MN and go after one or both of them.

Make Gomes an offer, if it's matched, then make Smith an offer.

Thats a good idea. I forgot that Gomes is on Minnesota too. I think Hammond should explore that possibility. Thats one thing Harris did not do much and that was force other teams into situations like that.

I'd be interested in Barnes, POB and Antoine Wright for fractions of the MLE.

I could also justify throwing the full MLE at Childress to see if the Hawks flinch, and if they do match, trying to get Marvin from them, who would certainly then be on the block.

Yep, I forgot them both. Marvin or Josh would be nice for us, but I believe Childress gives us more defensive talent.

Unless we can move a few of our big contracts, I don't see how we have room for a MLE offer.

I'd prefer to not use the MLE until we had a player to build around.

It's nice to look at upcoming free agents, but it's kind of hard to decide who to target when we have no idea what our roster will look like next season (other than Yi and Bogut).

Maurice Evans was a former Piston, not sure if Hammond would have an interest there.

I wouldn't have any problems throwing a ML deal at Childress just to see if the Hawks really will sign him no matter what.

Childress, with Ariza as a fallback option. I like Ariza a lot, he's still pretty young too (I think early entry after freshman year?).
