Any Word on Sampson Joining Skiles?

Maybe this is in another thread somewhere, but has there been any confirmation that Sampson will be joining Skiles? I really think he would be a tremendous asset.

I have a feeling Kohl would be opposed to the hire, given Sampson's recent transgressions at Indiana. Not that would prevent it from happening, just saying.

One word.....

Patterson.

If Kohl didn't have a problem with Patterson, anything is possible.

I don't think Sampson did anything that would be an issue on the pro level. He got busted for cell phone calls during a quiet period. I can't see how that would negatively affect his employment at the pro level.

I hope Kohl isn't already getting started with the meddling and he gets to tell Skiles who hes allowed to hire. That would be a bunch of BS.

We know Sampson knows how to call people using a cell phone. The question is, does he know how to answer the phone?

Well depending who he calls (and says), theres always the possibility of tampering charges.

I've heard nothing of Sampson's subsequent employment. Of course, he is public enemy number 1 in this part of Indidana and thus his name may be officially banned from mention.

Sampson is an excellent coach, I believe, and has good people skills. Seems to have a problem understanding that rules mean him also, and that you can't committ the same infraction and expect non discovery (hubris?). He would be the best lead assistant that Milwaukee has seen in some time, if he came. But won't Skiles bring whathisname now departed for the bulls? Whatever, I hope that Skiles has a top notch lead assistant. I think the Bucks haven't for some time.

An NBA assistant coaching job would be ideal for Sampson. He can text message his little heart out - even during games.

He'd fit in with Scott Williams. That's all he does during games, he rarely watches the game itself (can't blame him).

Williams: "I can't believe they actually pay me to do this".

Yeah, like he can text that. He's not Ghandi just because he's bald.

That explains so much about Scott Williams. Over the past few weeks of the season, I became increasingly convinced that Williams not to secretly desired to do disgusting, unspeakable things to Ramon Sessions. The fact that he was probably text messaging while the Bucks were on "defense" and watching when they got the ball explains why he compared Sessions to Jason Kidd...

Wasn't Sampson hired by the Spurs as an assistant within a few days of being fired?

When Cellvin illegally contacts a prospective free agent before his contract is up or tries to persuade a potential trading piece to waive his no trade clause, would we lose roster spots and be banned from the playoffs? Not that we use them wisely or will end up in the postseason anyway.....but I'd take solace in knowing we could.
