Brian Cardinal? Jason Collins? Kenny Thomas?

Either a slightly better player with a longer deal or a player of equal value.

If we deal him, it will be in a package with someone a bit more cap-friendly for their ability.

Yeah we either get back equal crap or we have to package him with our pick or a player that has some value.

In many situations, this isn't as bad as it sounds. If a player isn't a part of your plans, is due for a raise, is strong in areas that are generally overvalued when it comes to signing contracts, and is pretty easy to replace, it's often worth your trouble to use said player to unload a bad contract. Enter CV.

Villanueva and Gadzuric for Antonio Daniels and Darius Songaila.

I actually want to keep Gadz around if the alternative is taking back Kenny Thomas, Etan Thomas, etc.

Gadz sucks but in Skiles system with a good PG might actually provide "some" value. With a Kenny Thomas or Cardinal, we get nothing....and we've already got Bobby and Dez filling those overpaid, bench wing positions.

The Gadz who played in 2005-06 was a far better player than Cardinal, Thomas, etc.....

I think Skiles will kick Gadz ass and we'll get productivity from him as backup center.

Gadzuric is the Bucks version of Hellen Keller at this point. Idon't think Skiles or anyone else is capable of being his Anne Sullivan.

I'd do that in a second. I don't think the Wizards would though.

I think a Gadzuric for Brian Cardinal deal makes alot of sense.

I like Gadz, he's just too expensive. Simple as that. I'd be happy for him to see court time in 82 games, you can usually tell in the first 2 minutes whether to give him 10 or bench him right away.

I think he'd have a chance to be "effective" in Memphis.

No Cardinal or Kenny Thomas because their contracts don't end after next season when Bogut extension starts. I'd say Jason Collins (my main target for the gadz dumping), Stromile Swift (that obviously is going to take the player option on his contract worth 6.2M; plus I believe the Nets are going to lose Diop), maybe Donyell Marshall (obviously a trade for the last 2 guys will make us looking for a backup C).

Sicne he failed to meet minimum production levels in MIA, the last years of Walker's contract are no longer guaranteed. He's a $9 mil expiring contract.
