BRETT FAVRE COVERS MADDEN 09

Post#1 » by jeremyd236 » Fri Apr 25, 2008 4:31 am

I know this belongs on the football board, but the Bucks board simply gets more traffic and this is a huge announcement.

Brett Favre will be on the cover of Madden 2009.

I was watching Favre on Letterman just minutes ago and they revealed it. This is the incredible.

Well a lot of people don't look at the football thread. This is huge.

What's so big about it? He's on the cover of a video game, so yay for him I guess.

Wow doesn't suprise me at all with Madden having the worlds biggest man crush on Favre. I would say that its stupid to have a retired player on the cover but since Favre isn't offically retired, anyone that has watched Favres whole career knows he will be playing this season.

I don't want to bring up racist comments, but he is the first white player on the cover ever, unless you count fat john himself on the earlier covers.

They've only been doing cover athletes for 8 years, and can you honestly argue any of the cover choices over that span? It's not like the most dynamic players in the NFL are usually white guys.......

It seems in the past they sometimes have the most hyped player on the cover, not the best player

Forget about consecutive MVPs, this Madden cover will label him as one of the best ever... alongside Dorsey Levens
