Well it looks like Skiles isnt interested in having assistant coaches who accept losing and make excuses.
Skiles probably wasnt a fan of their ''but we loked good in practice'' mentality that they had after 40 point losses.

To the dismay of many on this board it looks like Tony Brown will not come back. While Hammond is at it, they might as well get a new strength and conditioning coach and trainer.

I don't see anything about Peterson there. So far, so so-so.

Nor anything in there about Akana either....

Yeah, that's why it's only "so-so."

It will be interesting to see what happens with Yi's guy.

Just wait until Hammond/Skiles can start blowing away our roster, too.

Glad to see that Peterson is still part of the staff (for the moment). Regarding Akana, I expect him to be here as long as Yi is here. Perhaps Skiles will require Yi to work with more guys on the staff, but Yi's personal assistant type will be around in my opinion, unless they can work out something with Yi's people.

Besides Sampson, wonder who else Skiles has on his assistant coaching radar?

Fire Akana. There's nothing whatsoever that Fegan can do about it. There are 400 some other players in the NBA who don't get to pick their own coach.

Joe Wolf of the D-league's Colorado 14ers was mentioned. I think he has the makings of a very good assistant. A lot of people suspect Jim Boylan to be a candidate as well. If we were to keep Peteson and Akana, those two would make the staff pretty much complete.
Sampson, Wolf, Boylan, Peterson and Akana.

Hopefully Hammond goes all out and brings in a new medical staff.
Our history with injuries has been absolutely atrocious while the Pistons have an impeccable record.

In addition to Wolf, and Sampson, the assistant hc at u of new mexico has been rumored to be the third guy

Akana is gone too according to JS. The way Skiles and Hammond are operating if Yi doesn't show progress next season, I could see them reducing his minutes dramatically. I also don't think either one of them would think twice about trading Yi.

New Mexico associate head coach Craig Neal is in the mix.

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but I figured I'd put the link here since everyone wants Akana to be let go...http://blogs.jsonline.com/bucks/archive ... ained.aspx

None of the Milwaukee Bucks assistant coaches from this past season will be a part of new coach Scott Skiles
