Sounds like all the formalities are being worked out but we just get an announcement real soon on these guys.

Can't we speed the process up? Just stick a bunch of numbers in a hat and each assistant coach pulls out a number. Whichever number they get is their salary.

That was a crappy gig for this team. I remember Brown looking like he wanted to punch someone at halftime of the game in Denver. And Todd had some pretty classic performances as well.

That or bring out the spinning wheel and have each one take a turn

The change-up in this is Lionel Hollins. No one saw that one coming.

This is a good start. I like this staff much better than the past staffs we've had. Good mix of experience and NBA playing history.

Stein is reporting that Sampson has accepted a position on the Bucks staff.

It's interesting that he would choose us over the Bobcats. In Charlotte he could position himself to take over when Brown quits in a couple of years.

So with Sampson coming in will they end up getting eric gordon somehow?

No, no, no to Eric Gordon, but I have to imagine Sampson would do one hell of a sell job, via text messaging of course

Maybe he'll have us bring back Kent Benson.

It is a bit amazing to me how well Sampson is thought of in NBA circles despite all of his mishaps in NCAA competition.
