Hammnond has already lost all my trust the little I had after his hire. I didn't want to just settle with a average coach when you could sit back during the playoffs and see what coaches become available.
Now D'Antoni a top 5 coach in the NBA maybe higher then that is gonna be looking for a new job followed by Avery Johnson and who knows who follows in the next comming weeks.
I hope Im wrong but its the Bucks, and they are one of the worst franchises on all of sports so odds are I am right.

D'Antoni is not a Top 5 coach.
Neither is Avery Johnson.
Last year Doc Rivers was one of the worst coaches in the NBA.
Does this year make him the best coach in the NBA?
The answer is no.

No coach is going to save this team without the right players.

D'Antoni is a top 5 coach. And I didn't say Avery was a top coach. Avery is just as good as Skiles though so all that means is your not gonna hurt your self by not jumping on a coach right away.
This is just the start too. Theres gonna be a few other good coaches available soon as well. A coach should not be rushed which the Bucks and Hammond did.

Why do you think D'Antoni would go to Milwaukee? He could go to Miami and be reunited with Marion (+ Wade, + #1 draft choice), or to NY, or to Chicago, or to Dallas.

Top 5 Coaches
1. Jerry Sloan
2. Gregg Popovich
3. Phil Jackson
4. Pat Riley
5. Larry Brown
6. Jeff Van Gundy
7. Don Nelson
D'Antoni is not a Top 5 coach
Bucks of old would've sat around waited for the supposed "perfect" hire. But after we realized we were being used for leverage it would be too late and we would be stuck with a turd for a coach.
Hammond is the new sheriff. He acts quick. He acts decisively.
You're right, plenty of coaches are becoming available. But that also means, plenty of jobs are becoming available.
Bucks made a decision at the right time.

I agree with Eastside.
What if we sit on our hands and lose out on all three? Then we're left with a tier 3 (most likely rookie) coach again. No thanks.
I'm perfectly fine with Skiles even in light of the recent firings. He's exactly what the team needs...a kick in the ***.
