ha ha hows the realgm write-up on Hairston who the Suns just picked -

****RealGM Analysis: Hairston isn't a gifted perimeter shooter and struggles to get into the lane.****

Seriously stop it with the compliments. The guy looks like a 45yo school teacher.

WTF - Portland just bought the rights to Arthur from NO for cash? Did we know that already?

Chalmers to MIA. Sounds good for them, bad for Mo/Haslem prospects.

Portland bought the pick before the draft. New Orleans were effectively picking for Portland.

Jeff Van Gundy says the Bucks are the biggest winners of the draft. Mark Jackson says the Nets are.

And there's the blockbuster...Love/Miller/etc for Mayo/Jaric/Buckner/Walker...

Wolves just got better in a hurry IMO.

MTC!

Interesting. McHale was patient, waited out a bunch of offers and came away with a great deal. It's not good if you think Mayo is head and shoulders above Love, but if you think they're fairly close, Minnesota kills on this deal.

What a crazy trade, I don't know how to react. I didn't see that coming, but Memphis has their 1-3 positions secured and no good big men. Maybe they'll tank for one more year. Dunno how Minny will turn out, I don't see them making the playoffs in the West. Maybe they can spin Miller again for a good youngster and keep rebuilding.

even more future draft picks for Portland, they sure go crazy at draft time

In a three-team trade, Chicago acquires the draft rights to Omer Asik from Portland; Portland acquires a second-round pick in 2009 from Denver plus two future second-round picks from Chicago; and Denver acquires the draft rights to Sonny Weems from Chicago.

L.A. Clippers acquire the draft rights to Mike Taylor from Portland in exchange for a second-round selection in 2009.

I'm surprised more teams aren't trying to emulate Portland. They remind me of myself in video games ripping off the computer for future picks.
