Each team will try to avoid a bottom finish in their group. I can see a close game here.

Bogut to assert himself and will test incoming Memphis Grizzlie Hamed Ehadadi, a legitimate 7'2 Center (7'4 in NBA?)

Australia has been playing poorly but in a recent 3 game series against Iran Australia was absolutely dominant playing without Bogut, Andersen and Nielsen (Nielsen suited up for the first game then was rested).
Tough choice for the Australian coaching staff, do they rest Bogut and hope it helps him recover for the remaining games or do they play him and hope he can run into some form.

We should, we did beat them without Bogut about a month ago but who knows we are playing like crap.

Angry Iranian looked like he wanted to take a swing at Bogut.

Bogut has 4 points and 3 rebounds in 4 minutes and draws 2 fouls on their only decent player so coach takes him out? Ok.

Goorjian uses hockey lineups in the first half.

Very Larry K-esque

Goorjian is just plain bad. I will never hold out hope for an Aussie medal in basketball, until he is off the sidelines.

Prediction-at some point in the game there will be an altercation between an Iranian and Mark Worthington.

Yea what is with that. Seems like he follows the same plan every game no matter what is happening.

We need to beat Iran by at least 30 points to have any chance of getting past this group stage.

It's like he doesn't want to allow Bogut, Mills or Anderson to get any sort of rhythm out there. Would be a fabulous strategy if he was the opposition coach.

We paid him almost 13 mil per year and he isn't even aggressive in the Olympic game against Iran. Still always looking to pass and playing soft a majority of the time.

Bogut doesn't look like he wants to get in position to rebound. The ball fell into his lap twice. He also looks winded.
