Good call. Doubt it happens though. I suppose they could waive Croshere and his unguaranteed deal.

OAKLAND - The Golden State Warriors have waived forward Richard Hendrix, the team announced Thursday. Additionally, the team has transferred guard Monta Ellis from the suspended list to the inactive list.

Hendrix, 22, did not appear in any regular-season games with Golden State this season and was assigned to the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Developmental League on November 14. In nine games with the Jam, the 6-9 forward is currently averaging 13.9 points, 10.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.11 steals and 1.22 blocks in 28.7 minutes per contest. Hendrix was originally selected by the Warriors with the 49th selection in the 2008 NBA draft.

I thought for sure they'd waive Brandan Wright instead.

For the love of God, YES!

Would love to take a chance on him over some of our bench fodder.

This makes no sense. You don't waive a 13/10 D-League guy who has only been there one-month.

There is something behind the scenes on this.

But yes, let's go get him.

Whatever he may have done (and it must be something) if we can have Ruben we can have Hendrix. I'd love to give him a look.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Forget about it. The Bucks never end up with guys like Hendrix no matter how they end up turning out.

Yes. A PF worth looking at. Not hard to beat out what we already have which is not much.

No, Austin Croshere is too integral to this team's ascension to 8th seed by 2010.

They felt he wasn't ready to contribute on this level, had trouble elevating and wasn't a good fit for their style of play. They eve flirted with waiving him before the season, however with that said I absolutely want us to grab this kid because I think he would be perfect here...

Only problem we have is that I'm not sure where we are on the waiver list maybe GAD or Fam can answer that question though...because someone might be able to grab him before us.

CBQ is right, they were about to waive him in camp. I don't think this is necessarily indicative of any behavioral thing with Hendrix, rather that they just wanted to clear a spot for Ellis.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

He looks like a beast! Just the type of player we need, besides, how in the ever-lovin'-world can he be any worse than what we have?

I don't think he is any worse that what we have but we need to move a body or something to get him. Skiles doesn't use Croshere most nights so he could definitely take his place.. but he will need to be developed and perhaps stashed in the D-League again.
