What if Lew never wanted to leave town?

What if Herb never bought the team?

What if we picked Hill instead of Big Dog?

What if we never got rid of Scotty Will for Mason?

Where are my pants?

What if we never traded Ray Ray?

Such mysteries will never be solved...

I can actually solve this mystery. Your pants are on a blow-up doll in my closet. It's my shrine of you.

This is complete hindsight since nobody, nobody was suggesting either CP3 or DWill at the time. It was Bogut or Marvin Williams, and no other choices were in discussion.

Having said that, if DWill had been drafted by the Bucks then I would literally be broke. I would have gone from a 1/2 season upper deck ticket holder to a full season, club seating ticket holder.

What if the Bucks had persuaded Dr. J to sign with them instead of the Hawks in 1972 when they drafted him? (A court case stopped him from joining Atlanta anyway, but what if it hadn't?)

If the Bucks had drafted Paul or Williams then Larry Harris would presumably now be regarded as a visionary.

life is full of what ifs.

had we drafted chris paul, then that on it's own would trigger a series of events. some good, some not so good. on the surface, yeah, you'd think we'd be better than we are now. but would we have someone competent playing in the middle? would scott skiles be our coach or would we still have terry porter? blah blah blah.

I've told my daughter that if i hadn't left my dart set in the car one night, she wouldn't exist. Weird how one event can have such a big domino effect on things.

As for the Bucks, the bigger question IMO is what if Redd had signed instead with the Cavs, what would the Bucks look like? My guess is better than they are now.

They'd be playing for a different team because we would've traded them because they weren't getting playing time behind TJ and Mo?

that's a good point. he may not have even developed the way he has. or he may have developed into a clone of his two mentors.

who knows?

Can you miss layups and shoot fastbreak threes simultaneously?

What if on July 10, 2005 Herb Kohl had come out and said:

"I've just traded Redd to the Cavaliers in a sign and trade. We'll be getting back Anderson Varajao and a future #1. The Cavaliers will be paying Michael a $90 million dollar contract.

In lieu of paying that $90 million, I am going to put that sum in a trust as seed money for a new NBA basketball arena to be built here in Milwaukee on the land now vacated by the recently demolished Park East freeway. I hope that civic leaders will use my personal donation of $90 million, more than the cost of the entire Bradley Center in 1988, as our private contribution towards the facility, with the balance to be provided with public funding. With our new #1 draft pick in Andrew Bogut and a new facility, I'm confident that Milwaukee will be an NBA city for decades to come."

What if this question died off, once and for all?

Contemplation/ Debate is healthy but, we've got a great player in Andrew, and this subject has been over analyzed time and time again.

We've got Bogut, now stick up for him, he busts his back, literally, for this team.

I'm personally excited to see where AB is this point next season when he's healthy (hopefully).

We're gonna be having a similar one for Lopez in about three years as well. Might as well bookmark this and we'll piggyback off it.

Would Larry Harris still be our GM?

Would we be a deep playoff team right now?

Would we be in talks for a new arena?

Would the Bradley Center have a capacity crowd nightly?

Empty talk, look in the future not in the past, because there are so many WHAT'S in the life you would be shocked. Just TRA LA LA LA .......... waste of time negative thinking.
When you put on that jersey, the name on the front is more important then the name on the back.
