Cav's Pavlovic out up to 6-weeks, could RJ trade be nearing?

Yes, they'll get West back in a week or two, but one would certainly think that the Cavs might consider adding RJ.

I just looked up his role over there.

He had been playing 16 minutes per game, contributing only 5 points and 2 boards. How hard can it be to find a D-Leaguer who can do the same for the next six weeks? I wouldn't think that this should have a lot of influence on their decision making.

He was the starting SG their last 10 games. He moved into the starting lineup after West got hurt.

Plus, the Cav's have openly expressrd concern about having the West and Williams backcourt lineup during the playoffs. Wally isn't going to give them the defensive their looking for and RJ is almost the exact same size of Pav.

I would LOVE to move RJ, but I'm not cool with being the team that nearly single-handedly gave Cleveland a championship.

Al Jefferson who gives a damn about him? Report on Bucks players!

I thought you meant Richard Jefferson...

Damn, your right. Forgot Jefferson was out for the year. Thanks for clearing that up...

Please keep this going, guys, let's see how long it takes...

Why the hell does that matter. It's not like they are getting in the way of the Bucks if that happened.

The same reason the Packers were so opposed to trading Favre to Minnesota. You don't ever want to make your division rivals better. I'd much rather try to get a deal done with Portland.

I really don't care if we make Cleveland better. I just want to be able to resign our young guys. Plus, it's not like Jefferson is making any team much better at this stage of his career. At least Wally can hit the three on a regular basis.

If the choice is trading RJ to Cleveland or not trading him, I'm trading him to Cleveland. Regardless of what it does for the Cavs, the Bucks need to make this move in my opinion given how the season is over for all intents and purposes.
Nothing will not break me.

Big difference is you don't play the Cavs 2 times a year in a 16 game schedule and that in the NFC North you need to win the division to make the playoffs.

Plus we really hate the viqueens....

The Bucks helped make the Cavs a title contender this past offseason, not so sure why people are freaking out by doing it in February.

RJ doesn't make them any more of a title contender IMO.

Nor do I, because they're already a title contender, and they became that when they acquired a certain point guard.

I've been thinking about this one. If they coughed up Wally and Hickson, we could still try hard to make that 8th seed. We could get some mileage out of those two guys. (Yes, Yes, I know, Hickson is the next Kevin Garnett)

I'm not freaking out, I would just prefer not to do it. Btw, I didn't like the Mo deal either when it happened (thought we should have dumped Max) but I'm happy with what we got back now. But I agree, if there is no other deal on the table for RJ by the deadline, you have to pull the trigger.

This is the NBA, not the MFL or MLB. Divisions are virtually irrelevant.
It is only conference that is relevant. One of these days I hope I don't have to repeat that any more :)

In any case, we need to worry about our own team and not the Cavs. If it is good for us, we should do it. Not doing something good for us because we think it might help the Cavs would be beyond stupid.
