Suns want cap space and decent PF.

Riley would move Marion to get help like Amare now (and can resign).

But a Marion return to Phx ain't happening.

Hence opening for a 3rd team like bucks.

WHY - get cap space & two 1sts next year & two PFs for this year in CV & Haslem. Haslem is a very good PF who has played well w/ Shaq b4. Next year Kerr has choice to resign CV or let walk for more cap space.

HEAT
GIVE - Marion, Haslem, Banks, 1st
GET - Amare, Ridnour, Gadz
WHY - Amare is stud & will resign. Luke gives vet PG that expires next year. They get to dump Banks. 1st will be late and Riely doesn't value rookies as much. Gadz > Blount. Amare can play 5 & Beasley 4.

BUCKS
GIVE - CV, Ridnour, Gadz, DJ, 1st top 7 protected
GET - Marion, Banks
WHY - dump Gadz - might not resign CV next year anyway - get cap space to easily resign ramon + MLE w/o getting into lux tax - Banks backs Ramon at PG. Marion at PF keeps illusion of win-now alive this season to casual fan.

THEN next year trade Redd for Brand
and get SG with full MLE (or trade RJ for SG and use MLE elsewhere)

As GAD has pointed out even relatively small savings add up and have future value. And Banks saves us a 1/3 (almost 2mil) off gadz deal.
