OT: Around the NBA - Tuesday, March 3rd

Post#1 » by oshmeehan » Tue Mar 3, 2009 7:26 pm

Obviously we play the Nets tonight, a win would put the Nets 2.5 games behind us.

Bulls play at Charlotte, who is playing good as of late. So should be a tough one for the Bulls. However a Bulls win and a Bucks loss tonight ties us both for the 8th seed.

Denver is at Detroit. Hopefully Denver can help us out

Charlotte is playing well in the 1st quarter. They need to keep it up.
"I just wanted to play because I just love the game," Jennings said. "It doesn't matter to me. I get up to play basketball. It's my job. I have to still be a professional and finish the season."

Bobcats up 13 points at half over the Bulls. Keep it up!

Nuggets up 2 over the Pistons near the end of the 1st quarter

Bulls lose

Pistons keeping it close in the third

Shaq just absolutely flopped against Dwight Howard and now got a tech complaining to the refs. 3 point game. He really wants to beat Howard. Haven't seen Shaq play this well since the title run with the Heat. He is really looking like the Diesel again.

Magic are going to win. Detroit/Denver is a good game.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Be a great night if the Bucks can hang on and the Nuggets win.

3 games ago, Tucker goes 7-11 in his first NBA start with a career high 16 points.

Immediately after, he is taken out of the rotation.

By the way, it's sick what Chauncy is doing right now. He and Nene are the only players keeping Denver in the game. Everyone else has been terrible.

Bulls fans again scratching their heads why they lost to a scrubs team like Bobcats (their words). Because they are a scrub team themselves (my words) :D

I think the Bulls are a great cautionary tale for what can happen if you don't take advantage of the window when it opens for a team with young talent. The Bulls had their shot but wouldn't close the deal for strong talent upgrades. Now they're a mess.

The Blazers would be wise to take note of that.
