Playoffs

Who to thank? Your gritty veterans, RJ and Ridnour, a combined 8-27 from the field.

CV and Sessions tried to bail us out, but they were basically playing 2 vs. 5.

Inexcusable loss on your home floor in a must-win game.

I'd just like to add that their number one pick who we could have had had another great game. Meanwhile our Potsie is screwing cheerleaders.

Ridnour 10 points (4-9), 6 assists, 5 rebounds. I wouldnt lump him in with Jefferson. And there was a lot of bad D out there.

How many times have we "waved goodbye" to the playoffs now? Then we turn right around and grab ahold of the spot again.

Look, I love this team but I could care less about any playoff implications. Fact is both teams tonight play hard but both aren't any good.

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Richard Jefferson is the one that is costing this team the playoffs?

I've seen this franchise do that for years, not sure why tonight should be any different.

Why the F did CV chuck that 3 pointer up 8? That was the game right there. If we grind out that possession we win the game. Awful awful awful awful awful awful loss.

Brook Lopez may be a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) but he is a load down low.

Ridnour was okay. He even had a hand up on those threes.

RJ was wretched however.

CV looked like a superstar tonight IMO even though he wasn't super hot. He had a great game.

All on RJ.

You don't have your star (well, what's left of one) go 4-18 from the field and expect to win many games. He tried to make up for it in FTs, but you just can't go 22%.

Also thought we should have had CBell in down the stretch.

I'll wave goodbye to the playoffs when we are eliminated, we still are in them now.

There was 4:18 left at that point.

I didn't see the entire game, so I might have missed something. But I agree with MD that I wouldn't lump Ridnour in with Jefferson tonight. I thought he played pretty well.

That said, yes, this one hurts bad. Sessions and Villanueva...ugh. I hope something positive happens this off season, somehow.

I will say that what Keyon Dooling did to us tonight, he has done multiple times this season. Not excusing it on our behalf, but just saying that he's having a good season with New Jersey - his best.
