If you want to watch the transformation of a good basketball player into a superstar, turn on ESPN.
Derrick Rose is ridiculous.

He reminds me so much of Derron Williams, only he is much more athletic. If he continues to improve there is nothing stopping him from being the best PG in the entire league... And yes, I realize Chris Paul is playing.

The Bulls really became a solid team after the deadline.

It wouldn't surprise me. He has all the skills. He is so much fun to watch.

He reminds me of a less athletic Jeff Nordgaard.

A lot's being made of the Cavs having homecourt if they face the Lakers in the Finals. That's ignoring two points:
1. The Lakers were the best road team in the league this season.
2. The Lakers were the second-best home team in the league this season.
If No. 1 comes into play, the Lakers could steal a game in Cleveland at the start of the series. And if that happens, No. 2 comes into play with three straight games in LA.

It's the excitement of the game talking. Chris Paul will probably be a top 5 guard ALL TIME before his career is done.
Magic
Oscar
Stockton
Thomas
Cousy
I could see CP3 in the top 3.

Don't forget about Nash on that list. He has won two MVP awards and that's pretty significant.
I could see Rose winning an MVP or more than one in his career. He has the skills and leadership ability to be a superstar in this league. I loved watching him in college last season and it's fun watching him now in the NBA.

Have you ever watched Derrick Rose play? If the kid grows into his potential he could easily be mentioned with all of those guys.

This reminds me of watching Paul in the playoffs last season. You're seeing a guy who's transcending his game.
