Sportsworld, you're like the kid on Christmas Eve who goes to bed 2 hours early in the hopes that it will make Christmas morning come quicker. Unfortunately, we have to wait all the way till Friday to see our Hawks again

Merry Christmas to everyone here also. It's too bad there are these long waits in the NHL scheduling. It would be a nice early X-Mas present to have a Blackhawks win this Wednesday.

Haha anyone see the latest All Star Voting Update? The NHL took away a ton of the Anaheim Duck's votes because they cheated their way to the top. Campbell is now in 2nd and Toews is in 2nd. Kane is still the leader.

Wow that's hilarious. Kane had a big lead then two days ago Getzlaf took the lead by 50,000 votes. I think it had to do with the texting option of voting. Apparently (from what I read from somewhere), you could send your vote to others and it would count them as a vote. So I could cast 1 vote and it could count as 10.

However I think the Blackhawks votes are more legit. The organization has been pumping up the All-Star game like crazy. I've seen at least 5 Kane-Toews-Campbell TV ads on CSN alone.

I just noticed Campbell is close to passing Nicklas Lidstrom for 1st. :lol:

It's crazy that the top defenseman and the top two forwards could be Blackhawks. If Sharpie were on the ballot he would probably be up high as well. He has 38,000 votes as a write-in which is very respectable.

What I love about this team is how balanced the scoring is. 5 goals from 5 different guys.
