If Chicago and LA win today Detroit plays San Jose in the first round. A Chicago win and LA loss and its Vancouver. Chicago loses and its Phoenix for Detroit (LA or Nashville for Chicago). Extra incentive for the win today, not that the Hawks should need it.

I gotta say (and I'm a Raps fan) I'm much more interested in the outcome of this game than the Toronto-Chicago game later. Given the importance of the two games is this strange? They're almost like bizzaro versions of each other. Two old rivals playing great, among the best in the NHL versus two sacks of crap trying not to screw up too much. Any Bulls/Hawks fans feel the same way?

I'm interested in the Rangers game. Win or go home.

That should have been the NBC game of the week.

They're actually going to give the goal to Bolland but still a nice move by Toews.

Return to Chicago Blackhawks
