Helluva series by both. A lot more entertaining than I thought it'd be honestly.

Good series guys. That being said, I can't root for you in the next round. :D

The Capitals are not the only team celebrating record television ratings.

Monday's Blackhawks/Predators Game 6 -- won by Chicago to clinch their first round series -- drew a 9.24 rating on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the highest rating ever for a Blackhawks game on the network.

The 9.24 rating tops the previous record high of 7.82 set by Blackhawks/Canucks Game 6 last year.

Ratings for Monday's game peaked with a 12.63 from 10:30-10:45 PM local time.

During the regular season, the Blackhawks set ratings records on six separate occasions.

CSN Chicago averaged a 6.02 rating for its five-game coverage of the Blackhawks/Predators series (one game aired on NBC), up 33% from the Blackhawks/Flames first round series last year (4.52).
