Figured I should start this before the big Wolves/Icehogs game on Saturday in Rockford.

The Icehogs are the minor league affiliate to our Blackhawks and are currently 10-4 this year with 2 overtime losses.

Nice, I would like to hear some Pat Foley again.
I haven't been to an AHL game in a couple years myself.

AHL games are a blast to go to. I went to a few games in Rockford when they were apart of the UHL last year. More fan-friendly than NHL games.

For me?!?!?!

I'll be at the Hogs game on Friday against Quad City. Can't wait for Chicago to come to town.

I heart teh Hogs. I'll try to keep you peeps updated as much as possible on the goings-on of the team.

Yeah I figured you would want a thread like this.
The Hogs will be on Comcast Channel 3 on Saturday against the Wolves.

Hogs lose to Quad City 5-3. Not sure why David Bolland was sent back down to the Hogs, but if the way he played tonight is any example of why, then he'll be here for a long time. He was brutal.

Big game tonight against the Wolves. It will be interesting to see the amount of people that will be at this game.

Hogs fans travel well, and with the commute only being an hour and change, I would expect somewhere around 500-1000 Hogs fans there. They're also some of the most obnoxious, ridiculous fans I've ever seen. A lot of them still don't understand the concept of smart hockey.

Hogs lead 1-0 early. Hopefully not Deja Vu from last time.

And after those two Hogs goals, the Wolves scored 8 unanswered to win 8-3. Good Lord, that was brutal. Bolland still is playing like crap.

Welcome back to Rockford, Kris Versteeg, 2 goals in a 3-0 win of Houston

This team is sort of frightening. They may be giving out points on the road, but they are picking them up, and that's all you can ask for.
