Good to see a lil' posting here lol.

I was hoping for a BSop return to be honest; and cheaper than a 2nd too. He was amazing on the PK and he and Hjalm are a nice pairing for that imo.

Leddy.... It's a lot to say that our brass thinks this highly of him to play him this year at 19 I believe given his size. He is a lightning skater once he gets comfortable. Don't forget about the great prospects on the blue line once a year or 2 goes by though; we have some pro guys coming up soon.

And on our hot streak; no I disagree with everyone. It's not a Hawks hotstreak. It's all Toews. I can't remember a tear like this from a hawk in some time. He has been the best player in the league since the break by a MILE.

Random note; what the heck is with Cam Barker? #3 pick behind Ovi and Malkin and he has 5 pts in over 50 games this year in his prime?????? The wild are a wierd wierd team imo; they have gotten amazing years from their goalies to me with a combined .923 and around 2.45gaa for a team that has only 1 20 goal scorer and an unbalanced mix of old/young mishmash talent. We all know Havi is one of the most talented players in the league, but their future is crap behind that right?

I think you're spot-on with what you said there. The Hawks have been on a streak, but without Toews, this team wouldn't be in the position it is now. Toews for the Hart!

Wow the HT??? Well, I seriously doubt it lol unless it was based on like 20-30 games but you never know I suppose. D Sedin may have that honor but I'll tell you whom I'd vote for in a heartbeat; Crosby. The dude has missed the last 25 games and is #8 in the league in scoring!!!!!! The team has really gone down hill sine then and are no threat for anything without him. He was on pace for 132 pts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whens the last time that has happened? Long arse time I'm sure; Mario I'd assume?

I'd give it too him if he comes back and reaches 75-80 pts and not think twice.

1. Crosby
2. D Sedin
3. Toews
4. H Sedin
5. Hell T Thomas (1 of the best years I've seen in a long time for the late bloomer)

Toews has been unconscious, but the last two nights the Hawks have had five different goal scorers.

This streak isn't just Toews. Kane and Hossa have finally shown up, Crawford's been Niemi-like.

Maybe the biggest reason why the Hawks picked up Campoli, give Keith a rest

Speaking of Keith, how is he going? Last thing I read said that he had an injury to his hand or something? When it comes to injuries, I know Hendry is out, but how is the rest of our roster looking health-wise?

Thanks SportsWorld. I see that Bolland is also out of our next game thanks to a dirty hit. Hopefully he's back soon.

So...um...anyone catch the game vs Detroit?

Man, this board is as dead as it gets. What will it take to bring some people in here?
good intentions are microscopic to fat pockets

the board is very dead, its sad really...

the game vs det and then the SO win the other night were huge in getting those 4pts and now with 5 games left we are actually in a pretty good position to hold on to 8th over likely 9th place stars.

the game against boston you could just tell we were DEAD, late flight out of a late OT "playoff" win against our #1 rival in division and potential 1st round matchup???? We had no shot.

Our best players are playing their best games right now and that is what I'm thrilled about most. Esp. Seabrook. I can't believe he is this good right now. Don't even think about the extra scoring that has been going on... It's his skating, positioning, diving, standups, checks, and quick crisp passing. I mean, he has been our best player this week by a mile.

On MKru... I said a year ago that this guy was going to be our 2-3 line center for many years. He is EVEN BETTER than I thought. I mean wow this kid has insane skill and off the charts potenitial. He has that very rare feel for the game (I think like TSelanne) and could be a 40-50pt scorer next year with 60-90 as a career average ages 23-31.
