Sigh. Good effort. Crawford was awesome.

And Duncan Keith is total trash.

There is nothing for the Hawks to hang their heads about in this series. Obviously I'm relieved at the result. Especially since Vancouver outplayed them the last 2 games. Crawford was amazing the last 2 games and I was begging to be put out of my misery after Toews scored. There really is nothing like NHL playoffs. If that was a NBA game Vancouver would have won going away by the mid 3rd quarter.

Good luck to the Bulls the rest of the way out. I'll probably adopt them after Portland is eliminated.

Yeah but Keith has admitted to being wasted (energy wise) for a good portion of the year. Who can blame him considering what he help accomplished for nothing Chicago but for his country. With that said, while he did play like crap, I think a full offseason of rest and I think Keith returns to his Norris trophy level next year.

Good effort by the guys, and PROPS to Corey Crawford. For all his years in the minors waiting for his opportunity, he made the most of his opportunity. We got ourselves a legit #1 goalie for awhile guys.

But unfortunately for Compali, he gotsa go.

That shorthanded goal with 1:56 left was great. I really thought they were going to win it after that. Then draws a penalty on Burrows (all is well), but alas we don't score who knows what Campoli was thinking. I do think Crawford was a bright spot in the series. At least they made it fun series after those first few games.

Man, I don't think there is anything more exciting than the NHL playoffs, pure intensity for 60 minutes...

Coming back from 3-0 is no easy accomplishment, and I have to tip my hat to these Hawks. They looked tired afterwards, and not just because of this game, but the pretty much the whole season.Thought they'd convert that PP, Sharp is always money on those. Bobby Lu showed up somewhat last night, but we didn't test him like we're capable of doing.

Crawford has been lights out these past 2 games, and I'm sure we'll be keeping him. I can't really blame Campoli, probably the biggest game of his career, and he whiffed. Burrows was pretty much gifted that puck, didn't even need to fight for it. I wouldn't call for Campoli's head this quickly, and he did have a couple of bad games, but there were a lot of mistakes made by nearly everyone (D2K, Kane, Hossa, etc). Dude was with a mediocre Sens team, and he had a positive rating on a team that was -49 overall. A lot of guys were tasting the playoffs for the first time, and many of them outplayed our core.

Hilarious to see the Sedins coming out the woodwork and claiming how this series shouldn't have gone to seven. Too bad I couldn't hear Henrik over his -4. Bolland owned that line once again.

I hope this failure makes them that much more hungry next year. They're 2 or 3 pieces away from contending again. Hopefully we can get a decent center for the 2nd line, and pair him up with Hossa.

The guys just didn't seem all that interested the whole season, and the Cup hangover is very real. Just like the Bulls, I see red in the Blackhawks future. Gotta be patient.

Still very much hurts though...

It sucks that we lost, but we did great to fight back from 3 games down in the series. We didn't win it this year, but I still think we have a great young core who will be a contender again next season. Obviously Toews and Kane will continue to improve, but one guy that I am particularly interested in watching is Frolik. I was excited when we got him and I think he has a lot of talent. If he keeps getting better, he will add more firepower in a 2nd or 3rd line role.

Bad luck Hawks, but we'll be back.
