OT: The blackhawks game 3 tonight

Post#1 » by bearadonisdna » Mon Apr 21, 2014 6:42 pm

These are the defending champs but are down 2-0 in the first round. Game start 7;30 central. As far as chicago sports this is the game of the year so far.
Gotta admit im a lil worried they have so little wigge room right now. Hopefully they kick a little blue ass.

Same story last 2 games--give up late goal--lose in OT.
Now Seabrook out 3 games--that hurts a lot.

They gotta get this one.
Hawks losing 2 and Bulls losing game 1 really made this a bad sports weekend.

Winning that coin flip kind of salvaged it...

Yes, it really did. Miserable. Went down to Scottrade Center on Saturday and it was depressing.

The Hawks are coming back and winning this series. The way they lost both games was extremely deflating and takes a lot out of a team, but these guys have been there. They were down 3-1 to Detroit a year ago and it turned out pretty good. I have faith.

The way they lost the first 2 is extremely deflating. On the verge of having both games won, instead end up dropping both.

The Madhouse will be rocking though, excited to see how they respond.

They better win this one. From almost being up 2-0 .... Man that is tough. But they have shot the selfs in the foot in both games at the end with penalties. we'll see if they can keep their heads with a lead for third strait game

U cant usually bank on blanking playoff teams. Would like to think getting another goal is a priority as well as protecting the lead. Cant get lackadascial on offense. Puck control would be key in the final period to limit blu possessions. Dont want to have shot droughts. Pass up a good shot for a better shot.

Being up 1-0 going into the third period they are where they want to be in this game.

Up by 1 goal once again with less than a min to go..... I had a feeling this was going to happen again. I thought they would tie it again like the last 2 games.

Thank goodness they didnt. Hawks have to bring this same effort into game 4.

If Crawford can keep playing like that, they'll be playing in June.

Brookbank was HUGE. That boy stepped up. What a game by him and Zus.

Just a great effort by everyone, but Crawford was just phenomenal.
