Yup man. 20 minutes away from a 2-0 series lead.

Not that im opposed to defenseman getting involved offensively its just that i think they are better served forcing rebounds than taking legitimate shots.

I know what you mean. You'd like for a defenseman to be shooting mainly only when they're open, but also have a shooting lane and when we can get a man in front of the goalie. Closer shots have led to both of our goals so far though.

HAWKS WIN!!!

4-1 win puts us two games ahead in the series. Goals to Toews, Bickell and two to Saad.

I'm very content with Bickell's contract... he can be nonexistent in the regular season as long as he shows up for the playoffs like he is doing again.

Game 3 at TCs. The Wild won all 3 there vs Colorado. Should be great!

Win tonight would be huge--we need to take 1 on their ice to close it early.
We can thank the Wild for beating COL--as they seemed a worse matchup for us.

Keep cheering for Habs (and Rangers) as well--they have some matchup mojo vs. Bruins. With Bruins out the matchups are all in our favor IMO.

Didn't see the game because I was at work, but by all reports it's not a game I'm going to want to watch the replay of. For those who saw the game, what went wrong?

hawks tied it up 2-2. Corey gave up a cheap one, 3-2.
hawks commit a lot of penalties in the 3rd, kill all but 1. 4-2 wild.
i think the hawks win the next 2 and move on.

Glad to be back on home ice in game 5 for the win. Now we have to win one more, with one game each at home. I'm hoping we wrap it up in Minnesota in game 6, because I don't think my heart could take a game 7 at this point. Lets just get it done in Minnesota and move on. Fingers crossed.

Great Series win , now we are awaiting the winner of the la anaheim series which is going seven. the wild were tough and based on what ive seen from LA and anaheim, could have probably taken either of them out.

Return to Chicago Blackhawks
