Just go to Philly and split and finish it in Chicago.

This was the type of game I expected from these two. The top line needs to wake up shortly. Ben Eager with the game winner...unexpected to say the least. But Antii Niemi is your MVP tonight. Massive, massive saves. Brent Sopel also with a great game tonight. Duncan Keith was really pissing me off tonight even with his six blocks. Some really awful turnovers. Kris Versteeg was terrible, too.

For the Flyers, Ville Leino was EVERYWHERE tonight, he was terrific. Giroux showed up late, and Leighton was great as well. Bradon Coburn was the best defenseman on the ice I thought.

Series doesn't start until the road team wins a game. Do it Wednesday.

Your recap needs some Patrick Kane bashing who I think has been the worst player on the ice for us this series. He's either worn out or the Flyers are completely shutting him down. He's shown that he can perform in big games in the Olympics earlier this year.

For whatever reason I don't have that good feeling that we're up 2-0 in the Stanley Cup Finals. We can't back down at any point in this series. The Flyers have proven they can beat all odds and comeback in series.

Monday's Flyers/Blackhawks Game 2 delivered one of the largest overnight ratings ever for the NHL on NBC.

The Blackhawks' win drew a 4.1 overnight rating on NBC, up 21% from Penguins/Red Wings Game 2 on a Sunday night last year (3.4), and the highest overnight for any of the first four games of the Stanley Cup Final on broadcast since Stars/Devils Game 4 in '00 (4.2).

This is only the fifth* time that an NHL telecast on NBC has drawn at least a 4.0 overnight, and only the third time that a non-series clinching game has hit that mark.

The 4.1 overnight is also the highest on record for a Game 2 in the Stanley Cup Final -- a stat that looks far less impressive when you consider that Game 2 has aired on broadcast just three times since 1975.

NBC again won the night in primetime, averaging a 2.4 rating among adults 18-49.

Chicago led all markets with a 25.1/39 for Game 2, up 49% from Game 1 (16.8/35). Philadelphia followed with an 18.5/28, up 40% from Game 1 (13.2/25).

Those are very impressive numbers. Hockey is definitely back in Chicago.

Chicago just wants a winner. They are craving a team that can bring them excitement.

I've been following the Blackhawks hardcore for about 4 years but I wish I have been my whole life. I can't imagine the excitement those life long fans have right now. I always have followed the Hawks but didn't follow hardcore til 4 years ago when my friend took me to a game and I realized how awesome it was live.

It feels great to be this close to a championship again for the first time since MJ left.

I'm telling you, the Flyers want this series more than us. They've outplayed us for 10 periods.
