Cliff Levingston sat 2nd row almost right behind the goal (where Niemi was in for the 1st and 3rd). Awesome seats and awesome game. The Hawks showed up ready to play and beat Nashville at their own game.

Highlight of the night. A guy sitting right on the boards set his beer down on the edge of the boards, and literally about 10 seconds later, the puck got dumped in and there a big hit right at the boards there, which shot his beer off and onto him. Hilarious, and the guy loved it.

How was the crowd Cliff? The crowd doesn't project well on Comcast like Bulls games do but it's always louder when you're actually there. I thought the crowd sounded louder on TV in game 2 compared to game 1 and was more decked out in red. It almost felt like the crowd for Game 1 was expecting a win and was in shock when we went down.

time to come up on the road and make it happen.

keep being great against the power play, and get the passing in line. stop letting the puck just hang around in the zone!

And the 3rd penalty this period. Something in the air must make all our sports teams suck these days.

Did someone tell this team they had a game today? Jesus Christ they look like garbage.

State of Chicago Sports:
Cubs-Completely done until the bad contracts retire
Bears-Great offseason but still nowhere near title contenders.
White Sox-Loaded with bad contracts
Bulls-Have a great future but management will surely screw up this Summer
Blackhawks-Total chokejob so far and it looks like they'll lose in the first round after everyone picks them to win the cup. Now they're about to be completely shelled this offseason in order to avoid the cap.

You are now seeing the difference between last year's team and this year's team. Martin Havlat was our MVP of the playoffs last year and did it all. His replacement has done nothing this playoffs.

No doubt. Nobody on this team looks like they want this. When 2 of your 4 best players in Hossa and Toews are invisible, you aren't going to win many games.

I hate to be pessimistic all the time but I hung the Hawks on my sleeve this year. The Bulls, Cubs, and Bears all sucked this year but there was always a great chance that the Hawks could make a good run in the playoffs so I waited on them. And they come out and lay a total egg.

Oh, let's please not start the Havlat s*** again. Should we whine and bitch about trading James Wisniewski, too?

Wisniewski is a bitch and he wasn't on our team last playoffs so who cares. It's not just Hossa/Havlat. It's Toews playing much worse now than he did last year, it's Bolland looking like ass out there, it's Brent Seabrook playing worse than last year, it's Adam Burish not even getting any minutes these playoffs who was a big part of our run last year.

What makes this game even worse is the flat out idiocy that is this Nashville crowd. It's as close to a Rockford IceHogs crowd as you'll get in the NHL.

Andrew Ladd with the giveaway, Byfuglien with a ballsack of a penalty, Thursday's a must win
