How many games will Carcillo miss?

Post#1 » by TNBT » Wed Jan 4, 2012 5:36 pm

The question is right there in the thread title. I just saw the hit on the Oilers player and I'll be honest... it doesn't look good. I was pleased that the Flames player (can't remember which one at the moment) was suspended for 2 games for his cheap hit on Seabrook, and also the suspension given when Kruger was hit, so I even though I love the edge and crazy energy that he brings to the team, and he's one of my favorite Blackhawks, I can't make excuses for Carcillo in this instance.

The hit itself was pretty damn bad. Hopefully the Oilers player doesn't miss much time, as that should help to reduce Carcillo's suspension. I have a bad feeling about this though -- after being suspended six times in his career, including twice already THIS SEASON, I think they'll want to make an example of him. What do you guys think is the likely outcome? Also, what are your thoughts on the hit and Carcillo in general?

I think the fact that he's already been suspended twice this year is going to make things a lot worse for him. I'm guessing between 6 to 10 games, its really tough to say.

It sounds like Gilbert's only going to miss 2-3 games.
