first of all, I would be surprised if Bieber was plugged in enough to know anything about anything. And I already don't want him in Chicago just on general principle of ewww. I don't care what he does to the Hawks logo.

Well I can tell you this, he didn't just wake up one day with a major record deal. He had to put a huge amount of time into his career and to develop his music and marketability.

Lets be honest - he's a good looking kid who can dance. That's it. Record companies saw that he had the pretty boy angle that they could sell, so they did. It had nothing to do with his music ability, which in all honesty is pretty crap. I don't know how old you are, but anyone over the age of about 25 should know that just because people like a musician, doesn't necessarily mean that the music is any good. He got a gig because record companies could sell him as a heartthrob to teenage and pre-teen girls, who are so brainwashed that they think his music is great purely because they just love the kid in general.

Im glad he wanted to be part of the hawks celebration. The logo thing was more of a accidental taboo then a blatant show of disrespect. Word was he was very apologetic.

Bieber is a wanted man in the Gold Coast in Australia. He did some pretty extensive artwork with spray-paint on a wall at or near a hotel where he was staying. The council is demanding that he clean it up, or else... I don't know what they'd do. Unfriend him on facebook? Not send him a Christmas card this year?
