Kevin Hayes is not Chicago-bound

According to WireTap, we have been unable to sign 2010 pick Kevin Hayes. I'm wondering if us trading his brother away had anything to do with it?

Yea in my preview I knew awhile back he wasn't signing.... He wanted to not fight tooth and nail for ice time and his bro being gone didn't help.... Look he is a good player and projects as a 3rd line skill and scrap guy but it would be 2 years before he even got a shot at say playing while sharp rests etc.... Word is he didn't want to wait... He choose NYR and that's fine bc he got 2nd comp...

Thanks for the insight, GRADEN. I hadn't heard much about what happened between Hayes and the Hawks.
