I think you have the wrong guy dying three years ago, GRADEN. Our guy is alive and well.. He was in camp and reported to Rockford to try out for the Ice Hogs a couple of weeks ago. I don't think he made the roster though.

U know its weird... I read one article where he was listed (44 died) and these 2 former hawks did die... Alexander Karpovtsev and Igor Korolev,..... It was for Lok, and I believed he was on the plane... Maybe just injuries as I found the new contract news as well. Weird.... Not sure... If a mistake I'm very sorry

Yea I just retraced... So I started this back in May and that link doesn't work anymore.... After his contract in July more articles came up... Not sure... Terrible accident... A lot of good hockey on that plane

Leddy really playing well for the isles whom are 3-0.... Those 2 additions of Leddy / boychuck are really paying off.

Also, a big modern medicine wow to have Tavares start the season healthy.

Opinion.... Tavares and Toews very similar players... Thoughts? I think Tavares just like Toews is an amazing leader / teammate while also possessing elite skill

Comparing Tavares to Toews is a big compliment, but he's certainly looking like justifying that comparison so far this season. Looking like a future superstar.

Ryan Hartman killing it at Rockford... Just turned 20 and has 9pts in 10 games... Would already be up on 25 teams no doubt. I think maybe he's jumped to the head of the line when either Hossa or Sharp needs rest. Size an issue with physicality though? (Tuevo's issue too)

U know what Toews / Tavares more similar the more isle games I've watched... He was the 1st pick 5 years ago... 324 pts in 355 games... Passes first but good goal scorer around the net... Superb teammate and extends plays with hustle. Just turned 24 and coming off a major injury but if anything still progressed... 9pts first 5 with an improved team. Rest assured if they were a top 10-12 team every year everyone would know he is a top 15 player in this league like I know he is. Pretty much the exact same size too.

Hey guys I wanted to say something on HOCKEY prospects..... If u are or going to be an elite NHL player then you ALREADY are one at 16,17,18,19.... This isn't MLB where if you a dominate high schooler or all star college player u will still need minors reps ya know. These kids like Stamkos, Crosby, Malkin, Kane, Hall, Tavares, Duchene, Toews, Nash, RNH, Seguin, and soon to be McDavid were all legit top 3 picks and were ready right away (and these were just off the top of my head). My point here is that as we debate the Hawks prospects here don't expect stars.... Only expect good to fringe second line guys... Minus maybe Snugg and Press in 2 years. A guy like K Hayes is not a big loss bc we wouldn't get back a second round pick for him now we'd get a 4th... So his not signing is a WIN

Going to bump due to almost seasons end... 5 games left 98 pts and I predicted 103 so I'd guess we will finish 102-105 here and secure number 4 against either the Wild or Canucks...

We are currently second in goals against to only Montreal whom is a superb defensive team so I can easily say I don't think anyone saw that coming.... Top 10 sure but 1-2 no way.

A healthy Kane would make the playoffs very interesting... So would be if the Kings come back for 8th and get rival Ducks whom they could beat as I believe they would have a clear mental edge to the series.... Just maybe not the goal scorers that Anaheim has.... Either way I'm cheering for it

Just looked I said 107 pts so they'd have to get 9 pts last 5 which will be tough.... I'd say 103-104 is where we end up

Pretty close on everything in terms of roster / prospects I feel :).... Darling, TvR, Hartman, and Tuevo the only 4 callups worth mentioning from the group.... A lil surprised McNeil didn't get more pub and Rasmussen didn't get more than a callup and Practice time.... He is a legit 3rd line guy on 95% of NHL teams....

TvR a huge part of next years team with Oduya and Rozisval heading out....

You should update the prospects list to include among others, Kyle Baun and Artemi Panarin.
TGibson (1/28/17); "..."a 4 or 5 on a scale of 1 to 10 for drama"...What's the worst? "...yelling matches with Thibs, everybody is just going crazy and I'm just sitting there...like, 'Don't call my name please..."
