On paper, yes. But who knows. He's been garbage this season too. This was a cap move overall.

I see in your lineup you have omitted Panik and Rasmussen. Do you think they'll get much of a chance going forward? Or do you think these new blokes are so far ahead that Panik and Rasmussen won't get a game?

I think Panik has a chance if anyone struggles, just like when Q benched guys for a game here and there. But for the playoffs, I think they're going to roll with the vets unless they really are bad.

Coyotes claimed Jiri Sekaf off waivers from the Hawks today too. So that chapter's over already too.

I'm interested to see on whether we play Fleischmann or Mashinter more on that right wing. I'm guessing we'll trial both and see who performs best. Or otherwise just adjust the lineup depending on the opponent - as in Fleischmann plays when we need speed and offense, and Mashinter plays against bigger and more physical teams?

Anyone seen much of this kid, or what sort of player he is?

After last night's preseason game and from what has been happening up to now, there's a real good battle going on to see which of the young forwards will make the opening roster. They've all had their moments.

If I had to rank them, it'd be Motte, Schmaltz, Fortin, Hartman, Vinostroza...McNeil.

Hartman is going to miss some time with injury. How much time is anyone's guess, but it sucks that were already losing guys this early in the year, especially one of the kids who needs game experience the most.

Motte out 2 to 3 weeks apparently. I heard he took a big hit into the boards, but does anyone know what the actual injury is?

Wow, seems it’s been longer than I realised since I’ve been online around here. Recapping a few recent moves, we’ve added to the blue line with trades for Maatta and De Haan. I like these moves, even though I did like Kahun. I’m really interested to see what other additions we make in the near future.
