GAME 22 - Blackhawks @ Avs

About time I started a game thread... you know, being the Mod and all.

I've given up trying to get the NHL package to work, and from what they said when I emailed them, and from the many, many other p*ssed off people online, it doesn't look like the NHL are fixing it anytime soon. I'm hoping that those of you who can watch the games will keep up the great work in the game-day threads, and I'll be listening on the radio link on the Blackhawks website (assuming it's still free).

Anyway, what are your expectations for this game? We went cold against an elite goalie against Vancouver, and assuming that Varlamov starts for the Avs, we're going to be up against another elite guy. I'm curious about what you guys predict. Will the offense get back on track? What are their forward lines like and can we shut them down? How will Clendening, Danault, and any other kids we have play? I'm tipping that Crawford gets back on track and we beat them in a close, low-scoring game... something like 2-1.

1-0 Avs. The Hawks have been playing pretty well they just can't buy a goal.
