Out 8 weeks with wrist injury.... Ugh. We need him 100% to start next season that's all I care about.... With us getting fleeced on these deals we are going to need him next season!

They were saying on CSN Chicago and ESPN Chicago that the 8 weeks is extremely "generous" and even if the Hawks made the Final, there's very little chance he'll be back. He'll be ready for camp.

Yea I in no way want him rushing back.... I was super impressed with him so I'm all about next year for him on our 3rd line and maybe even paired with jalmer ???

In other news, Richards is out for the rest of the regular season too. Anyone familiar with his situation and when he's likely to be back?

It's apparently a hand injury (doesn't sound bad). Coach Q said he expects Richards back for the playoffs and he sounded quite chipper about it (as he has with Kane). Usually when it's bad, he sounds down. So no exact time table. But the speculation is he might play game 1.
