That 3rd period was brutal. Team hung Darling out to dry. Finish em off on Saturday. I still think it'll be Darling in goal.

Am I the only one worried about our seeming inability to finish off our first-round opponent? What does this say for the rest of the playoffs (if we advance)?

It was ugly.... Btw I want to bring up something crazy obvious to me now.....

Do Hossa and Stalberg have bad blood dating back to his hawk days? They absolutely hate one another out there guys and Hossa is always so calm

Sharp demoted a line too btw.... Barely noticed him out there last night

Thought Richards was active and Oduya good in spots, everything else looked "not urgent"

I don't remember hearing anything about any problems between Hossa and Stalberg. Hopefully we knock Stalberg and the Preds out of the playoffs and really give them something to actually be p*ssed about.

I wouldn't say I'm worried, just a little more annoyed. The Hawks are playing a strong team and one that's built like they are. The Preds were at home, fighting at home to avoid elimination and that crowd was fired up. They played like it from the first whistle in the 3rd period. It's all about matchups. If the Hawks win this series (and I think they do), they should be in at least decent shape. Especially if the Wild, who the Hawks owned until the last meeting, beat the Blues and the Hawks have home ice next round.

I originally said Hawks in 6. I'll stick to that.
