Here we go! Not that it needs to be said but they should in no way be underestimated... They have one of the worlds best players, a star in the making, and a goalie with a huge confidence high. This is a really really good team and should be a long series.

Well, we got control in the last half of the period. I like where the team is at right now in this game. Need to get one soon. Not a bad 1st though.. I knew the Bolts would come out hot. Great team

TEUVO! OMG what a couple of plays.. the goal and the poke away right to Vermette for the go ahead.... But how about the play by Shaw and Dunc to make the first one happen? wow.

Thanks for starting the game-day thread, G. Great win but very easily could have been ballsed-up if we don't score two in two minutes. Against a team as good as Tampa, we can't count on doing something like that to get us back into a game. Lets hope we can put some points on the board early in game 2.

Yea Tuevo won this one for us... They came out and kicked our butts those first 3 minutes and I was like holy crap this is gonna be a 4-1 game 1 loss.... Crawford settled in and Tuevo made some huge huge plays... Man I hope the new daddy is ok? That was a nasty hit against the post...

Why would VH at 6'7 pick on 5'9 Kane in a bad spot? That's just crazy
