Bicks is on the roster because the Hawks are paying him. That's exactly what I was told by my guy that works at ESPN. The Hawks are hoping he does anything or someone on another team gets hurt for a long period of time. They want him gone. He didn't want to play at Rockford. I think he'd take out too if it was offered, but neither sides is going to budge with the money owed. They were really hoping someone would claim him when he was waived, but it's too much money for the lack of prodction and every other GM is going "why would I claim a guy who will eventually be gone?". Eventually the Hawks will probably just have to take back another bad deal in return. It sounds less and less like waiving him was a "wakeup call" and more of a "how do we dump him now?" secanrio.
