Yahoo.com - The Chicago Blackhawks got down to business on Wednesday, signing Patrick Kane, the first overall pick of the 2007 draft, to a three-year contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Kane, 18, led all Canadian Major Junior players with 62 goals and 83 assists in 58 games while playing right wing for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League.

Hard to believe in my lifetime we have never had a good team in Chicago.
I want to like hockey but every year they let me down and hockey is boring again.
